Alberto Arias founded ARC in 2007 and serves as its Portfolio Manager. Mr Arias is a successful buy-side and sell-side metals specialist with over 27 years of sector specific experience which includes 14 years managing metals focused private equity funds with an outperformance track record. He is responsible for the long-term vision and investment strategy execution and the sourcing of deals.

Prior to founding ARC, Mr. Arias was a Managing Director, Metals & Mining Research at Goldman Sachs from 1998-2006 and Executive Director, Metals & Mining Research covering Latin America at UBS Warburg from 1994-1998.

Mr. Arrarte brings over two decades of experience in management, operations, and consulting for mining companies with his background as a Mining and Mechanical Engineer to the investment team. Mr. Arrarte previously served as CEO of Compania Minera Caudalosa SA and Operations Manager for four mines with Hochschild Mining, among other positions.

Mr Cacho is an Associate at ARC and brings over 8 years of experience in the Metals sector to the investment team. Mr. Cacho was previously Head of Financial Planning with precious metals provider Buenaventura. Mr. Cacho serves as Director at Compañía Minera Kolpa.

Mr. Checa is a Director of ARC and brings over 12 years of experience in M&A transactions in the Metals sector to the investment team. Mr Checa previously worked for J.P. Morgan in the Latin America Investment Banking and M&A Advisory team, focused on mining, for 5 years. Mr. Checa also serves as Director at Compañía Minera Kolpa.

Ms. Kapur has worked with ARC since 2009 focused on operational projects for the Founder and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to ARC, Ms. Kapur worked for several years with Investcorp International, Inc.

Mr. Lee is a Director of ARC and brings over 20 years in engineering and finance experience to the investment team. Prior to ARC, Mr. Lee was with Raging River Capital, Geologic Resource Partners LLC, and a battery materials analyst at Byron Capital Markets Ltd. Mr. Lee previously served on the boards of Park Lawn Company Ltd., Bearing Lithium Corp. and serves as a Director at Largo Inc, Compañía Minera Kolpa, and Largo Physical Vanadium.

Ms. Peeva has worked with ARC since 2015 and is focused on projects for the Founder and Portfolio Manager. Ms. Peeva previously served as a Manager with Deloitte.

Mr. White brings two decades of experience with alternative asset managers (private equity and hedge funds) to his position as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, which he has held since 2009.

Prior to ARC, Mr. White was Chief Operating Officer for an SEC-registered investment adviser that managed long/short equity hedge funds.
